Los Angeles based artist Chris Cooper Aka. Coop presented his new works at the Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City. Well-known amongst the Kustom Kulture community, Coop is an artist whose body of work consists primarily of 1950’s hot chicks, cigar smoking devil and B-movie monsters. Here pushed to another level.

The Twitter DJ Application

Berlin based DJ/Producer/Label Owner Richie Hawtin has always been pioneering new technologies; from the development of Midi enabled DJ mixers to laptop DJ technology. Now Hawtin’s Minus label and Native Instruments worked closely together to optimize the Traktor software in order to brings Twitter into the DJ boot. The new application works as a conduit between Traktor and the online messaging utility Twitter and allows for real time broadcasting of all tracks played during a DJ set.
